My experience as Seoul National University was pretty good.  I had to take a bus from one part of the campus to another part.  The campus is way bigger than Berkeley and Stanford and all the buildings are SO spread out!  We almost got lost on our way out but luckily we found our way haha.  Ok I will update more next time.  God bless everyone!

Hi Everyone and happy Sunday! I wanted to update more from my Korea trip.

I saw there was a Singaporean restaurant in Korea called Kopitam!  I was quite surprised!  Here is a picture of the restaurant.

So I had an opportunity to visit Chung Ang University in Korea. I met Steve and Claire there! It was pretty amazing coz I heard someone yell out my name, and when I turned around I saw them! Here are some pictures I took while there, as well as a giant blue dragon with it's tail wrapped around the globe.

I took many random pictures, including the toilet and the surrounding buildings.

Hi everyone!  I wanted to show more pictures from my Korea trip.

I went over to Suwon to meet up with Boki in the morning.  Here are some pictures from the cafe that I took at Suwon.

 IMG_0561 IMG_0562

We went to a mall in Suwon and they had many movie props, such as Transformers and Ratatouille.  Here are some pictures from there.

IMG_0564 IMG_0566

Transformers was AWESOME by the way!  I wanna see Ratatouille!  I took some pictures through the glass window of a mall there.

It was raining that day, and we decided to go to a castle.  We were looking for the entrance of the castle, and found a hiking trail.  Here are some pictures.

Even more from Korea!

Hi everyone!  I just wanted to update more about my trip to Korea.

I went to this cafe called Tree Shadow.  It is a really interesting place!  You can go there to buy drinks, such as tea, coffee, etc and you also get a complementary feet treatment, called Dr. Fish.  You wash your feet first in some wash basin, and then you put your feet in water filled with the Dr. Fish.  They swim around and eat the dead skin cells from your feet.  At first it was very very very ticklish, and after 10 minutes its still ticklish, but it was a lot of fun!  Here are some pictures of the Dr. Fish!

IMG_0522 IMG_0523 IMG_0525 IMG_0524

On one of the days, I went with Hee to her meeting at a Japanese church in Korea.  Hee is with a ministry called JASTAR that helps out japanese students in Korea.  When I went there to the meeting, it was only three of us, since the other leaders were at a missions trip in Japan.  The meeting was soo cool!!  It lasted about 2 or 2 1/2 hours and we sang songs, prayed, prayed some more, shared a bit, and pray some more!  It was really great to be able to just pray and depend on God during the whole meeting!  Here is a picture of the 3 of us!

IMG_0500

I also got a chance to go to Suwon!  Its about a 1 1/2 hour train ride from where I stayed at in Seoul.  I went to meet up with Boki there.  Here are some pictures of Suwon.

IMG_0532 IMG_0534 IMG_0535 IMG_0536

I was expecting Suwon to be a small city, but it was kind of like Seoul.  It is much smaller than Seoul, but it wasnt a small little city of how I imagined it to be either.  It was raining that day, but it was still fun to explore Suwon in the rain haha.  Boki and I went to a cafe for lunch.  Here are pictures of the cafe.

IMG_0548 IMG_0550 IMG_0551 IMG_0552

This is a picture of my lunch!  It was very good!

IMG_0559

Ok this is all I have for today.  I will upload more pictures tonight and share them in Xanga.  God bless everyone!

More from Korea

Hi everyone!  I just wanted to update more on my Korea trip.

Hee and Jacob invited me to their church on Sunday.  It was a lot of fun, even though I didnt understand the service because it was in Korean.  Here is a picture of the church.

IMG_0321

After church service, I went to Jinjoo's church, Hanshin Church.  We went to an english service that reminded me of a children's service.  Afterwards, I went to join Jinjoo's small group, where she is one of the leaders!  Here are some pictures.

IMG_0322 IMG_0323 IMG_0324 IMG_0326 IMG_0330

I met some really cool people from the church!  I took some pictures with them too!

IMG_0336 IMG_0349

The next day I got to go around more in Seoul.  I met Boki, Sumin and Cathy and had lunch.  Here are some pictures.

IMG_0362

Seoul had a lot of cute things.  I took a picture with a cow and also the bear from the Teenie Weenie store.

IMG_0354 IMG_0356 IMG_0357 IMG_0358

Seoul is really commercialized!  Here are some of the many stores that they have!

IMG_0385 IMG_0387 IMG_0388 IMG_0389 IMG_0390 IMG_0391 IMG_0392 IMG_0395

My favorite is the Nike store!  Here is me in front of the Nike store, and also behind the glass window (even though the picture didnt come out as good).

IMG_0394 IMG_0393

Here are more pictures from Seoul.

IMG_0396 IMG_0397 IMG_0398

I also went to Baskin Robins and we had Ice Cream Fondue!  Here is a picture of some pictures in the store.
